I am a fine art wedding and portrait photographer. My approach to your day applies fine art and documentary photography to the unique living, breathing, fast paced, and ever changing social phenomenon we call a wedding. My friend Keith Carter once to me if I wanted to succeed in photography "you must make uncertainty your friend." Such is the nature of wedding photography. The most amazing moments captured at such events could never be planned. In many cases, the folks gathered for such occasions will probably never do so again. Most of the days happenings are captured in a documentary manner but when the time is right I will compose, direct, and interact. For me, and this has been true ever since I picked up a camera decades ago, it is all about making something beautiful. Turning a real life event into art.
